SAXBY’S COFFEE: Acquires Bucks County Coffee, Ramps Up Franchising

(Franchise Pick) Saxby’s Worldwide has acquired popular regional coffee chain Bucks County Coffee in a move the company claims will create opportunities for franchise owners.
The acquisition includes Bucks County Coffee’s 15 retail locations and a distribution channel to approximately 400 grocery outlets.
According to the company, the purchase will bring the number of Saxbys Coffee shops to 65 by the end of 2008, jump starting its growth strategy and immediate plans to expand along the eastern seaboard.
